Meet the Team
Elijah Njawuzi
Founder & CEO
Elijah Njawuzi is the Founder and CEO of Mwebaza Sports Solutions, with over eleven years of experience in sports administration and event management. As a Senior Sports Administrator for the Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC), he prepares and manages Team Uganda for international competitions, handling logistics, accreditation, and representation at major sporting events.
A certified expert in sports governance, Elijah leads UOC's Sports Administration Courses, mentoring future leaders. He advocates for Olympic Values programs and has initiated impactful projects, including the Game Connect initiative, benefiting over 10,000 refugees and youth in Uganda. Since 2016, he has served as a Returning Officer for national sports federation elections, known for his neutrality and organizational skills.
Elijah holds a Master's degree and various certifications in Sports Management and Administration, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. His expertise includes governance, athlete welfare, strategic planning, and international event management. Through Mwebaza Sports Solutions, he aims to build trust and professionalism, reshaping the sports landscape in Uganda and beyond.
Patricia Ayebare
Sports Operations Manager
Patricia Ayebare, the Sports Operations Manager at Mwebaza Sports, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of sports programs. Her Master's in Sports Administration from the Russian International Olympic University and IOC Certification in Sports Safeguarding equip her with the necessary expertise to oversee technical operations for various sports initiatives.
Her leadership experience includes roles as FIBA Foundation Youth Leader, Executive Member of the Uganda Basketball Federation (FUBA), and General Coordinator for the Football Federation (FUFA) in Uganda.
Isaac Musisi Ndugwa
Legal & Compliance Head
Isaac Musisi Ndugwa, our Legal and Compliance Head, plays a crucial role at Mwebaza Sports Solutions. With his extensive experience in domestic and international corporate and sports sectors, Isaac ensures that our organization operates with integrity and fully complies with all relevant standards and regulations.
His expertise and strategic guidance are vital in advancing Mwebaza Sports' mission to provide customized, high-quality solutions.

Marketing & Branding Manager
John Paul Ssemakula brings over a decade of strategic marketing experience to Mwebaza Sports. His focus on shaping brand identity, leading marketing campaigns, and enhancing platform visibility is underpinned by his diverse background and collaborations with industry leaders like Moet Hennessy, Heineken, and Stanbic Bank.
A passionate advocate for the arts and sports, John Paul has represented Uganda in national rugby and actively engages in cultural campaigns.
Denise Namale
Communications Manager
Denise Namale specializes in strategic communication, public relations, and digital marketing. With significant experience in sports marketing and media management, she enhances the organization's brand and fosters relationships with athletes and federations.
Denise has successfully managed high-profile events, including the Rugby Africa Cup 2024 and the Rugby World Cup 2022. She holds an Honors degree in Journalism and Media Relations, a Sports Administration certificate, and a Diploma in Sports Administration.
